How Do I Initiate a Repair Service with Fence Builders Inc.?
On a Fence Installed by Fence Builders Inc.
If a customer requests a quote for a repair, we first double-check that it was, in fact, installed by Fence Builders Inc. If you’re unsure, we have a metal sign on all of our fences. Once it is determined that the fence was originally installed by Fence Builders Inc., your customer service representative will enter the request into our system and assign a sales representative to reach out to you to schedule an estimate. Typically the call will be within 2-4 business days. Once it is determined the type of damage your fence is facing, repairs will be scheduled by our production department.
On a Fence Not Installed by Fence Builders Inc.
If a customer is requesting repairs on a fence that was not originally installed by Fence Builders Inc., we charge an upfront $75 estimate fee. The same process is then followed where your customer service representative will enter the request into our system and a sales representative will schedule the estimate within 2-4 business days. If the customer proceeds with the repairs through Fence Builders Inc., the repairs are scheduled by the production department and the $75 estimate fee is applied to the final invoice.
Fence Builders Contracts With the Customer NOT the Insurance Company
It’s important to note that Fence Builders Inc. only contracts directly with the customer. We do not contract with insurance companies regarding repairs. This allows us to provide our customers with the highest quality of service and materials without any disruption from insurance carriers, who may have different repair expectations than our own. As a result, the customer is responsible for TIMELY payment. Most contracts will require a 1/3 deposit upfront and payment due upon receipt of the final invoice.
Are Repairs Covered under Warranty?
No, repairs are not covered under warranty. We do offer a workmanship warranty on all repairs and installations, but this does NOT cover any damages that occurred due to a storm or any other acts of nature.
